Assistant General Manager Benefits & Compensation Competitive pay and benefits package Paid time off in the first year Healthcare benefits available within 90 days 401(k) eligibility with company match after 1 year Consistent work schedule Company-provided housing and meals available for a fixed weekly cost Supportive, inclusive team culture with strong mentorship Opportunity to live, work, and explore near Yosemite National Park Assistant General Manager Requirements & Qualifications Minimum three years of Food & Beverage operations management , with culinary oversight Significant customer service and hospitality management experience Experience managing busy, multi-faceted hospitality or service operations, including financial and labor cost control Demonstrated expertise in both BOH and FOH restaurant operations Strong human resources knowledge Experience with hotel PMS and POS systems Assistant General Manager Preferred Background & Skills Background working or living in rural or remote settings Experience training and coaching junior managers and line employees Highly effective communicator, detail-oriented, and organized Assistant General Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities Supervise and develop department managers across Food & Beverage, Culinary, Front Office, Housekeeping, Retail, and Facilities Manage daily and evening lodge operations, serving as a visible presence for guests and staff Foster a positive, inclusive team environment through coaching and hands-on leadership Interview and hire managers; support the hiring and onboarding of front-line staff Oversee financial performance, labor management, and operational enhancements Establish safety standards and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures Cover lodge operations during General Manager absences Participate in youth employment and mentorship initiatives Step in to support any department as needed to maintain high standards Enjoy a leadership role where your skills drive both team growth and exceptional guest experiences, all while embracing the adventure of life in Yosemite's great outdoors.
