We're looking for a reliable and experienced Front of House Manager / Shift Lead to help oversee daily operations, support the team, and maintain a high standard of service and hospitality throughout each shift. This role is hands-on and floor-focused. We're looking for someone who leads by example, communicates well with both FOH and BOH, stays composed under pressure, and understands how to keep service organized and running smoothly. Responsibilities Lead and oversee front-of-house operations during service Support servers, bartenders, hosts, and support staff throughout shifts Help maintain strong standards for hospitality, service, cleanliness, and professionalism Assist with shift organization, floor flow, and team communication Help manage reservations, seating, and guest experience Handle guest questions, concerns, and service recovery professionally Assist with opening and closing responsibilities Support staff training and onboarding Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service standards Assist with cash handling and POS oversight Communicate effectively with kitchen leadership to ensure smooth service execution What We're Looking For Strong Leadership & Communication You lead calmly and professionally, communicate clearly, and know how to keep a team organized and motivated during busy services. Hospitality Focused You genuinely care about guest experience and understand the importance of creating a welcoming, high-energy atmosphere. Reliable & Accountable You show up prepared, take ownership of your responsibilities, and help set the tone for the shift. Calm Under Pressure You can multitask, problem-solve, and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment. Team Mentality You support the people around you, hold standards high, and contribute to a positive work environment. Skills & Experience Previous restaurant leadership or management experience preferred Strong understanding of front-of-house restaurant operations Experience in high-volume restaurant environments preferred Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures Strong customer service and conflict resolution skills Ability to multitask and stay organized under pressure Experience with scheduling, training, or shift management is a plus Evening and weekend availability required Responsible Beverage Service certification and Food Handlers certification preferred Consistent Hours & Scheduling Full-time and part-time opportunities available with steady scheduling based on business needs and availability.
