Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team and oversee daily kitchen operations. In this vital role, you will ensure exceptional food quality, maintain efficient workflow, and uphold the highest standards of food safety and cleanliness. Your leadership will inspire staff, streamline processes, and create a welcoming environment that delights our guests. Responsibilities Supervise all kitchen activities, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency and quality to the Nick the Greek Standard. Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste through effective food management practices. Oversee food safety protocols in compliance with health regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures. Lead staff training and development initiatives to enhance culinary skills, customer service, and team performance. Coordinate shift management by scheduling staff, assigning tasks, and ensuring smooth operations during busy hours. Maintain a positive work environment by supervising team members, conducting interviews for new hires, and fostering a culture of teamwork and hospitality excellence. Requirements 2+ years of proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management within quick service or fast food restaurants. Demonstrated supervisory experience with a strong background in team management and staff training. Familiarity with Excel & ordering platforms for efficient order processing. Knowledge of inventory control techniques, food safety standards, and budgeting principles relevant to restaurant operations. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff and manage multiple priorities effectively. Previous experience in fine dining or casual dining environments is preferred; banquet or catering experience is a plus. Strong communication skills coupled with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service in hospitality settings.
