A. Italian Kitchen is returning to our family's East Coast pizza heritage. We are rolling out our original New York-style pizza dough program along with Sicilian Deep Pan and Chicago-style pizza recipes that helped shape our family's passion for pizza and Italian food. We are searching for an experienced Restaurant Manager / Pizzaiolo to help lead this exciting evolution of our brand. This is not a "clipboard manager" role. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who truly loves pizza, dough making, pasta, hospitality, and guest service. We want a leader who is motivated by building exceptional food, growing sales, developing teams, and delivering a great guest experience every shift. If you understand dough fermentation, scratch dough production, pizza stretching, artisan pizza execution, and high-volume restaurant leadership, we want to meet you. What You'll Be Doing Leading daily restaurant operations in a fast-paced food court environment Helping launch and execute our NY-style, Sicilian Deep Pan, and Chicago-style pizza program Stretching dough, preparing pizzas, cooking pasta, expediting orders, and actively working service lines Training and coaching team members on dough handling, fermentation, food quality, consistency, sanitation, and hospitality Delivering exceptional guest service and professionally resolving customer concerns Supervising shifts and motivating employees while maintaining strong operational standards Managing labor, food costs, inventory, prep systems, and kitchen organization Supporting marketing initiatives, promotions, and sales-building efforts Maintaining cleanliness, food safety, and operational standards Working evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak business periods as required Required Qualifications Restaurant management experience in pizza, Italian food, or high-volume quick-service restaurant operations Strong knowledge of: Pizza dough fermentation Scratch dough production Hand-stretched pizza dough New York-style pizza Sicilian or deep-pan pizza production Proven leadership experience managing restaurant teams Strong communication and guest service skills Ability to lead from the front in a hands-on working management role Ability to multitask and remain organized in a high-volume environment Preferred Qualifications Pizzaiolo experience strongly preferred Italian food and pasta experience preferred Experience building sales and motivating restaurant teams Bilingual communication skills are a plus, especially: Spanish Armenian Food safety certification preferred or ability to obtain certification after hire if required Benefits Competitive hourly compensation with overtime pay Performance bonus opportunities Medical benefits Dental benefits Paid vacation (subject to company policy and eligibility requirements) 401(k) profit-sharing program Career growth opportunities within a multi-unit restaurant organization Who Succeeds Here The ideal candidate: Lives and breathes pizza and hospitality Takes pride in dough making and food execution Leads by example Understands urgency, teamwork, and guest satisfaction Wants to grow sales and create loyal guests Is dependable, energetic, organized, and driven Apply Through Indeed Please submit your resume along with: Your pizza and dough-making experience Your experience with NY-style, Sicilian, or Chicago-style pizza The type of restaurant volume and teams you have managed Why you believe you are the right fit for this role L.A.
