Job Description

Overview Join the nardo Huntington Beach team as an Assistant Manager and become a vital leader in delivering exceptional dining experiences! In this role, you will oversee daily restaurant operations, supervise staff, ensure top-notch customer service, and maintain high standards of food quality and safety. Your leadership will inspire your team to excel, foster a welcoming atmosphere for guests, and drive the restaurant's success. Duties Assist in managing daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures Supervise and motivate staff to deliver outstanding customer service and efficient food delivery Oversee food preparation processes, ensuring adherence to quality standards and safety regulations Manage inventory control, including stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste Operate Toast POS for accurate order processing and cash handling Train new team members on food handling, steps of service protocols, and safety procedures Monitor shift performance, handle customer complaints professionally, and resolve issues promptly Requirements Proven experience in food service management or restaurant supervision with a strong background in full service restaurants Hands-on experience with food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management in quick service or fast food environments Familiarity with Toast POS; cash handling experience required Knowledge of food safety standards, inventory control, and food production processes Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in staff training, team management, and supervising diverse teams Excellent customer service skills with a passion for hospitality excellence Ability to manage shift schedules, oversee kitchen operations when applicable, and ensure compliance with health regulations Minimum of two years experience in casual dining settings is required; event or catering experience is a plus We are committed to supporting your professional growth through training & development opportunities while fostering a positive work culture rooted in teamwork and excellence.
Pay:
$72,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
