Assistant Manager - Restaurant

This role could be for our Huntington Beach or Irvine locations. Duties Assist in managing restaurant operations, including shift management, staff scheduling, and ensuring smooth service flow Supervise and train staff on food preparation, customer service, POS systems (such as Aloha POS and Micros POS), and food safety protocols Oversee food handling, inventory control, and food production processes to maintain quality standards Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling procedures and reconciliation Support kitchen management by supervising food preparation, cooking, and ensuring compliance with health regulations Maintain high standards of hospitality and customer service to enhance guest satisfaction Assist in budgeting, cost control, and monitoring restaurant performance metrics Participate in interviewing, onboarding, and developing team members to foster a skilled and motivated staff Experience Proven experience in restaurant management or assistant management roles within casual or high end dining environments Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen operations Hands-on experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS/Toast Strong background in inventory control, food safety standards, and food handling procedures Demonstrated leadership skills with supervising experience in hospitality or food service settings Experience managing staff training & development programs and conducting interviews Familiarity with budgeting, food cost analysis, and overall restaurant management practices Previous experience working in fine dining or hotel environments is a plus Join our team to lead with enthusiasm! Pay:

$72,500.00 - $80,000.00 per year
