Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and motivated Manager to lead our franchise cafe, juice bar, and light sandwiches outlet. This dynamic role involves overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, managing staff, and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess strong leadership skills, and have a passion for delivering a memorable hospitality experience. As a key team leader, you will drive operational excellence, foster a positive team culture, and ensure the smooth running of the establishment. Responsibilities Lead daily cafe operations, including food preparation, customer service, and cash handling to ensure a seamless guest experience. Supervise and train staff on food safety protocols, POS systems (such as Aloha POS and Micros POS), and service standards to promote efficiency and professionalism. Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to optimize profitability. Oversee kitchen management tasks including food production, quality control, and adherence to health regulations. Implement shift management strategies to ensure adequate staffing levels during peak hours while maintaining high service standards. Conduct staff interviews, training sessions, and performance evaluations to develop a motivated and skilled team. Maintain compliance with food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and operational policies across all areas of the café. Handle customer inquiries or complaints promptly to uphold excellent customer service reputation. Assist with budgeting and cost control initiatives to maximize operational efficiency. Support catering or special event services when required to expand revenue opportunities. Qualifications Proven management experience in a quick service or fast food restaurant environment with a focus on casual dining or café settings. Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling safety practices. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; cash handling experience is essential. Demonstrated leadership skills with previous supervising or team management roles in hospitality or food service industries. Knowledge of inventory control procedures and food industry best practices. Excellent communication skills with experience in staff training & development and interviewing candidates. Ability to manage shift schedules effectively while maintaining high standards of customer service. Experience in kitchen management, food production, catering services, or hotel/hospitality settings is highly desirable.
