In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily bar activities, ensure exceptional customer service, and maintain a lively, welcoming atmosphere. Your leadership will drive team performance, uphold high standards of food and beverage quality, and create memorable experiences for our guests. This position offers an opportunity to showcase your management skills, and passion for hospitality in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Manage all aspects of bar operations, including staff scheduling, inventory control, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Lead staff training and development to enhance skills in food preparation, cocktail crafting, customer service, and POS system operation such as Toast POS. Oversee food and beverage presentation, ensuring quality standards are consistently met while supervising food handling and kitchen management processes. Handle cash transactions accurately through cash handling procedures; monitor shift reports and daily sales reconciliation. Maintain a vibrant atmosphere by supervising the bar area during service hours, ensuring quick service in casual dining or fine dining settings. Collaborate with kitchen management. Conduct interviewing and hiring processes for new team members; foster a positive team environment through ongoing training & development initiatives. Experience Proven management experience within the food service industry, particularly in bar or restaurant settings with casual dining or fine dining experience preferred. Demonstrated supervising experience with a focus on team management, staff training & development, and shift management. Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary practices, and food safety standards. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with cash handling and inventory control is essential. Background in hospitality management with strong leadership skills in restaurant management or hotel environments. Experience in managing budgets. Excellent customer service skills combined with the ability to handle high-pressure situations efficiently while maintaining a lively atmosphere.
