Nanny/Household Manager

We are looking for a warm, reliable, and organized Nanny / House Manager to help create a nurturing and well-run home environment. This role combines the joys of being with children (10 and 14) with the responsibilities of managing household operations for a 2 professional family. As our Nanny / House Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting our family by ensuring the children are happy, safe, and engaged while also overseeing household responsibilities. We value someone who brings a friendly and proactive attitude, excellent communication skills, and love for working with children. You'll create daily routines, plan educational activities, coordinate household service providers (e.g., contractors, plumbers, electricians, house cleaners, etc), handle light housekeeping duties and home good errands, and coordinate household schedules. We do have several pets (dogs, chickens and rabbits), and could use some occasional assistance with them as well. Responsibilities Provide attentive and nurturing care to children, including homework assistance, playtime, and educational activities. Manage daily schedules, including school runs, appointments, and extracurricular activities. Oversee light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, tidying up, and organizing children's belongings. Coordinate household service providers (e.g., contractors, plumbers, electricians, house cleaners, etc) Assist with pets, including vet appointments, food deliveries, and grooming. Assist with errands related to the household and children as needed. Requirements 26 Guaranteed hours per week. Hours will generally be Mon-Fri from 2:00-6:00pm and Wednesday & Friday mornings from 7:00-9:00am, with some occasional mid-day hours as needed for assistance with household service providers and any housework that cannot fit into regular hours. Actual hours are often less as we do take semi-frequent vacations and grandparents often assist Mon & Tues. Experience as a nanny or house manager with excellent references. Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage both childcare and household duties effectively. Friendly, patient, and compassionate demeanor with a love for working with kids. Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Excellent communication skills to collaborate with parents and coordinate household activities. Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and needs of the family.

Pay:

$20.00 - $32.00 per hour
