Restaurant - Food Service Description 85°C Bakery Cafe is recruiting for the Store Management Team. Store Management serves a broad range of functions, including but not limited to leading all aspects of operation, to include the customer service, management, and other training functions. The General Manager is not only responsible for achieving maximum sales and optimum profit, but also for mentoring and creating a cohesive team of high-performing management and staff. This position must have the ability to maintain an open line of communication among staff, while liaising between the Store Owner and rest of the staff. As one of the leading management of the store, the AM is responsible for people development, P&Ls, and upholding the highest standard of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness (QSC) while supporting 85°C key vision and directive.
Essential Functions :
Meet and exceed sales and profitability objectives Forecast and plan production while having the minimum amount of waste possible Maintain and schedule staff while maintaining labor hour expectations Manage inventory and order while maintaining appropriate levels of stock for production Support the recruitment, retention, and development of a diverse pool of talents. Deliver the highest level of customer service to each guest. Maintain high standard of quality control, hygiene, and health & safety. Expected to be able to work in all departments Monitor and meet the performance standard, including but not limited to 85°C policies, core values, and standard operating procedure.
Qualifications Minimum Education :
High School Diploma required; AA degree, Hospitality Management, or related field preferred
Minimum Experience :
Five (5) years of store management experience in bakery, restaurant or fast-food. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Excellent interpersonal skills, with high self-confident and able to clearly communicate complex information. Demonstrated success in Sales, Ordering, Scheduling, Training, Operation Development, and Customer Service Maintain and foster an owner mentality among self and all subordinating managers and staff Personal familiarity with daily store operation, from opening to closing. Experience in management of high volume stores, in direct supervision of 20 (twenty) or more employees. Ability to work full-time, including nights and weekend hours, including holidays, and all days where other staff does not report to work This position requires moderate physical activity. Employees must have sufficient strength to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position including moderate lifting (up to 50 pounds), walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, and squatting. This position requires nearly continuous standing and walking, repetitive hand motions, and reaching overhead. Employees may be exposed to unusual elements including extreme temperatures of coolers and freezers.
