Job Description
Household Manager / Family Assistant with Toddler Care (Full-Time•Weekends Required) We're a warm, busy family with one wonderful 2-year-old looking for an exceptional Household Manager / Family Assistant to become an integral part of our home. This is primarily a household management role with childcare responsibilities as needed. We have a full-time weekday nanny, so our ideal candidate genuinely enjoys working with toddlers but is equally passionate about creating a calm, organized, beautifully run home.
Our goal is simple:
we want our home to feel like a five-star hotel—always tidy, peaceful, organized, and ready for whatever the day brings. Household Management (Primary Responsibility) Keep the home consistently clean, tidy, and beautifully organized.
Laundry:
wash, fold, iron, steam, and put away clothing. Make beds and refresh bedrooms daily. Organize closets, drawers, pantry, refrigerator, and storage areas. Keep the kitchen spotless and well organized. Wipe down appliances, cabinets, refrigerator, and other high-use surfaces. Ensure everything has a place and stays there. Meal preparation and occasional family cooking. Pack luggage for business and family travel. Coordinate vendors, deliveries, and household projects. Anticipate household needs before they arise. Toddler Care (As Needed) Care for our fun, energetic 2-year-old when parents need an extra set of hands. Accompany the family on weekend outings, vacations, or activities so parents can enjoy quality family time while having additional support when needed. Occasionally provide childcare so parents can exercise, run errands, or enjoy a date night. Experience with toddlers (whether your own kiddos or others) required. Safety first•little man is fast and curious. Who You Are Highly organized and naturally detail-oriented. Warm, kind, energetic, and dependable. Comfortable and experienced with toddlers. Proactive—you notice what needs to be done without being asked. Takes pride in creating beautiful, functional spaces. Enjoys both caring for children and helping a household run seamlessly. Saturday:
8:00 AM•8:00
PM Sunday:
8:00 AM•8:00 PM Weekday coverage (flexible): Four evenings per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday) Approximately 4:00 PM•8:00 PM Exact days and hours can be adjusted for the right candidate. Additional evening availability for occasional date nights or special events. Our Ideal Candidate We're looking for someone who loves creating order and making life easier for the families they support. The ideal person notices when the refrigerator needs wiping down, laundry needs putting away, or pantry items need restocking. They think ahead, anticipate needs, and take ownership of the home. Just as importantly, they're happy to jump in and spend time with our toddler when needed—whether that's playing at home, joining us on a family outing, or giving Mom and Dad an extra set of hands so everyone can enjoy the day or handling little man during date night.
