Job Description
Position Summary We are seeking an experienced and motivated General Manager to lead daily operations and drive success within a fast-paced Starbucks retail environment. The General Manager is responsible for overseeing store performance, developing team members, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining operational excellence. This leadership role requires strong communication skills, business acumen, and the ability to inspire and develop high-performing teams. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Lead and supervise Assistant Managers, Shift Supervisors, Lead Baristas, and Baristas Recruit, hire, train, coach, and develop employees Ensure exceptional customer service and beverage quality standards Manage scheduling, staffing, labor costs, and payroll Monitor sales, inventory, waste, and profitability goals Maintain compliance with company policies, food safety, sanitation, and safety regulations Handle customer concerns and resolve operational issues professionally Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment Support community engagement and store marketing initiatives Ensure accurate cash handling and loss prevention procedures Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Associate or bachelor's degree preferred Minimum 3-5 years of management Starbucks experience required Minimum of 3-5 years of supervisory or leadership experience required Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities Flexible availability including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge of retail and food service operations Strong customer service and conflict resolution skills Ability to coach, motivate, and develop employees Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to analyze reports and drive business performance Proficiency with POS systems, scheduling software, and Microsoft Office applications Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to lift up to 25 pounds Frequent bending, reaching, twisting, and repetitive movements Ability to work in varying temperatures and fast-paced conditions Work Environment This position operates in a fast-paced retail coffee environment with frequent customer interaction and multitasking responsibilities. Professionalism, teamwork, and adaptability are essential for success in this role.
Pay:
$70,000.00 - $72,000.00 per yearBenefits:
