$75,000-$95,000 annually + monthly bonus + quarterly profit sharing (Final compensation is based on experience, performance, and location.) Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary within the stated pay range Monthly performance bonus Quarterly profit sharing Health, dental, and vision insurance Retirement plan Paid time off in accordance with California law Free food and beverages while working Ongoing leadership and professional development Essential Job Duties The General Manager / Operating Partner is responsible for the overall performance of the restaurant, including: Recruiting, hiring, training, scheduling, and developing a team of approximately 20-30 team members Leading by example to deliver exceptional customer service and hospitality Ensuring compliance with all company policies, brand standards, and food safety requirements Managing labor, inventory, ordering, and cost controls Owning restaurant P&L performance and driving profitability Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized restaurant environment Conducting performance evaluations and coaching team members Supporting local store marketing and community initiatives Overseeing all front- and back-of-house operations Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Minimum three (3) years of restaurant management experience, including at least one (1) year in quick-service or fast-casual dining Experience managing financial performance, including labor and food costs Familiarity with POS systems and operational reporting Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team-focused environment Proficiency with basic office software (e.g., Microsoft Office or similar) Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation Ability to work in environments with varying temperatures typical of a restaurant setting Additional Requirements Valid driver's license and ability to travel between locations as needed Ability to complete a paid management training program Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require Equal Employment Opportunity Jersey Mike's Subs is an equal opportunity employer.
