Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team and oversee daily kitchen operations. In this pivotal role, you will ensure exceptional food quality, maintain efficient workflows, and uphold the highest standards of food safety and cleanliness. Your leadership will inspire staff, optimize food production processes, and deliver outstanding dining experiences across various service formats, including casual dining, quick service, and catering. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate culinary professional eager to drive excellence in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Responsibilities Supervise all kitchen activities, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency and quality. Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste through effective food management practices. Oversee the use of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation. Train and develop kitchen staff on food safety standards, proper handling techniques, and culinary skills to foster a high-performing team. Coordinate shift management by scheduling staff efficiently to meet customer demand during peak hours while maintaining labor costs. Ensure compliance with health regulations and safety protocols to uphold the highest standards of food safety and sanitation. Lead staff interviewing, onboarding, and ongoing training initiatives to build a motivated and skilled team dedicated to excellent customer service. Experience Proven management experience in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality setting, preferably with casual dining or quick service restaurant backgrounds. Extensive culinary experience with strong skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and menu execution. Demonstrated supervising experience in a food service environment with responsibilities including shift management and team leadership. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for sales processing and inventory tracking. Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and best practices in food handling. Experience in budgeting, food production planning, catering operations, or banquet services is highly desirable.
