Job Description

  • Restaurant Manager
  • Established Jewish Deli
  • We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Restaurant Manager to lead daily operations at our well-established Jewish deli. This is a high-volume, fast-paced environment with a loyal customer base, where quality, consistency, and exceptional service are paramount.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all front and back-of-house operations to ensure smooth, efficient service.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service and maintain strong relationships with regular guests.
  • Lead, train, and motivate staff to uphold high standards of hospitality and professionalism.
  • Manage scheduling, labor costs, and team performance.
  • Ensure food quality, presentation, and consistency meet established standards.
  • Handle customer feedback and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Coordinate with the kitchen and ownership on menu execution and daily specials.
  • Monitor inventory, ordering, and cost controls.
  • Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of restaurant management experience (high-volume experience preferred).
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Ability to stay calm and organized in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of deli-style service and Jewish cuisine is a plus but not required.
  • Hands-on, proactive, and detail-oriented.
