Full Job Description SUMMARY:
The Assistant General Manager (AGM) is accountable for supporting the General Manager by leading the operations of the location and team members. The AGM will ensure the safety of our guests, team, and property, oversee the quality and consistency of our food and beverage, and adhere to THE LOT policies and procedures. The AGM works under the general direction of the General Manager and shall strive to always provide exceptional service to both internal and external guests. S/he will be responsible for exemplifying THE LOT's Culture. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Oversee daily operations, ensuring cleanliness, organization, adequate staffing, and completion of side work. Serve as backup to the General Manager during their absence. Monitor and support staff performance, holding team members accountable to uphold THE LOT standards for guest experience. Assist with corporate payroll processes, including inputting team member hours, approving timecards, allocating tips and service charges, and managing PTO. Assists with onboarding of new team members. Assists with inventory counts and product ordering. Submit invoices accurately into THE LOT's software system. Solicit and review guest feedback, taking appropriate action to resolve concerns and enhance the overall experience. Accurately implement initiative and policies to improve quality, service, marketing, and operational efficiency. Coach, develop, and manage team members to support individual success and meet shift goals. Report team member injuries and guest incidents to HR and Corporate in a timely manner. Maintain proficiency in Vista Ticketing Point of Sale system, including but not limited to: ticket sales, comps, swaps, refunds, membership management, marketing/re-admit passes, gift card sales, and point redemptions. Demonstrate HotSchedules proficiency, including: creating and modifying schedule templates, approving and posting schedules, sending messages, posting broadcast announcements, navigating the mobile app, accessing daily roster reports, and the digital logbook. Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures and policies and support administrative objectives across business areas. Assist with special projects as needed. Collaborate effectively with the team, supporting both guest and team member needs. JOB REQUIREMENTS
At least 2 years of experience in large, complex operations with a strong focus on food and beverage, hospitality, and brand management. Open availability to include weekends and major holidays. Solid communication skills, judgment, decision making, and conflict resolution skills with guests, staff, and peers. Must be 21 years or older. Demonstrated dependability and reliability with respect to timeliness, attendance, follow-through, and ability to work independently and efficiently. Demonstrated ability to:
