Position Summary Juniper & Ivy is seeking an experienced and hospitality-driven Service Manager to join our leadership team. This individual will play a critical role in maintaining our high standards of service, developing our front-of-house team, and driving exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 2-3 years of management experience in a fine dining environment and possesses a passion for hospitality, team development, operational excellence, and revenue growth. This role is highly visible on the floor and requires a hands-on leader who can coach, inspire, and hold teams accountable while ensuring every guest receives a memorable dining experience. Essential ResponsibilitiesService & Guest Experience Lead daily dining room operations and actively manage service on the floor. Uphold and continuously improve Juniper & Ivy's service standards and guest experience. Foster a culture of hospitality, professionalism, and attention to detail. Resolve guest concerns with urgency and professionalism. Monitor service performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, sales, and overall guest satisfaction. Team Leadership & Development Recruit, hire, onboard, train, and develop front-of-house team members. Coach and mentor hourly leaders and service staff to support ongoing growth and performance. Conduct performance conversations and partner with leadership on corrective action and employee development. Promote accountability while maintaining a positive and collaborative team culture. Support employee engagement initiatives and team-building activities. Operations & Administration Assist with scheduling, staffing levels, and labor management to ensure operational efficiency. Support restaurant systems, procedures, and service initiatives that enhance the guest and employee experience. Oversee dining room readiness, appearance standards, and uniform compliance. Partner with leadership to ensure operational organization, inventory controls, and administrative tasks are completed accurately and on time. Maintain proficiency in restaurant technology platforms including POS, reservations, scheduling, and reporting systems. Revenue & Business Performance Drive sales performance through effective floor leadership and guest engagement. Support special events, private dining experiences, buyouts, and promotional programming. Utilize reporting and operational data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. Collaborate with culinary and leadership teams to successfully execute menu changes, special offerings, and seasonal programming. Leadership Expectations Lead by example and maintain a visible presence on the restaurant floor. Communicate effectively with all departments to ensure seamless operations. Demonstrate strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Create an environment that promotes teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement. Qualifications Minimum 2-3 years of management experience in a fine dining or upscale hospitality environment. Strong knowledge of service standards, wine and beverage service, and guest relations. Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Experience with scheduling, labor management, training, and team development. Proficiency with restaurant technology systems such as Toast, OpenTable, Microsoft Office, and scheduling platforms preferred. Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and a flexible schedule as business needs require.
