- Duties
- Supervise daily operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in all areas of the business.
- Lead, train, and develop team members to enhance their skills and performance.
- Manage inventory and supplies, ensuring that all food management practices meet health and safety regulations.
- Oversee the Point of Sale (POS) systems to ensure accurate transactions and reporting.
- Coordinate banquet services and catering events, ensuring seamless execution from planning to delivery.
- Conduct interviews and participate in the hiring process for new staff members.
- Maintain a positive atmosphere within the restaurant or venue, fostering teamwork and collaboration among staff.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure a high level of satisfaction.
- Implement shift management processes to optimize staffing levels during peak hours.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience in food service management or restaurant management is essential.
- Strong knowledge of hospitality management principles, including catering and banquet operations.
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic financial management practices.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Previous experience in shift management is preferred but not required.
