Full Job Description About Our Organization :
The Thermal Club is the premier private motorsports facility in the world. In addition to over 5 miles of members-only racetrack, the Club facilities include a fully amenitized Clubhouse and Village unrivaled in the motorsports world. Our exquisite racetrack is designed to push both amateurs and professionals to their limit, giving members the thrill of driving at peak performance amidst the endless desert skies.
Summary:
Responsible for the management of the Food & Beverage. Planning and execution of events, and the operation of the food and beverage service in the various other areas of the club. Outstanding guest service and anticipation of our members' needs are essential skills. A high level of flexibility and the eagerness to please is a must.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Review all booked events that include food and beverage services and determine staffing levels. Overlook execution and direct service team prior, during and after each event to ensure members' satisfaction. Establish and maintain effective internal controls within the department. Develop new concepts that ensure the highest possible quality of food and beverage service. Manage and train wait staff to the required high-end standard recognized as best in the industry. Standardize control of beverage and labor costs. Control and enforce general cleanliness and maintenance of front and back of the house. Ensure compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations. Perform other related duties, tasks and responsibilities as required from time to time. Plans all operational aspects of each function to be serviced.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree required. Preferred in Hotel/Restaurant Management. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent customer service skills and the ability to deal with internal and external customers in a tactful and diplomatic manner Strong leadership skills and abilities to lead a large team in the operations, catering and culinary departments. Strong knowledge of fine dining restaurant service, banquet set-ups, timing, service styles and creativity with unique service and station presentations Previous related experience and progressive management experience in food and beverage operations in a club, hotel, catering facility and/ or restaurant. Strong cost control skills and the ability to consistently produce profit expectations Minimum of five years management experience in the luxury club, hotel and/or restaurant field. Good computer skills
Physical Demands:
Required to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds on a regular and routine basis. Must be able to exert well-paced mobility to maneuver quickly among different areas of the facility. Hours may be extended to include nights, weekends and holidays.
