Are You Ready to Lead the Line? Lunch Kitchen Manager | Truckee Tavern | Truckee, CA We are not looking for someone to simply run a shift. We are looking for someone to lead one. Truckee Tavern is built on consistency, teamwork, and a kitchen that runs clean and organized. Our guests expect a high level of execution every day, and that starts with leadership that shows up prepared, communicates clearly, and sets the tone for the team. This is a hands-on leadership role. You will be on the line during lunch service. You will be working alongside your team. You will help set the kitchen up for a successful dinner service. If you are looking for a title without accountability, this is not your place. Who We Are Looking For A strong kitchen leader with the ability to run a smooth, consistent lunch service. Someone with solid grill and line experience who leads by example. A person who holds food quality, cleanliness, and organization to a high standard every shift. A team builder who communicates clearly and supports the people around them. Someone who understands prep, systems, and the importance of setting the next shift up for success. Reliable, accountable, and consistent in both attitude and execution. What the Role Looks Like This is a full-time position with a focus on daytime/lunch service. Here is what you will own: Leading and executing daily lunch service on the line. Overseeing prep and ensuring the kitchen is set for both lunch and dinner service. Maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment. Supporting scheduling, staffing, and daily kitchen operations as needed. Ensuring food safety and sanitation standards are consistently met. Helping build and maintain a positive, accountable kitchen culture. What You Get $30 per hour plus tips.
