Citizens, Nionals or those who owe allegiance to the U.S. Clarificion from the agency Open to Public Duties Help Responsible for the on-site management of food/bar operions of an assigned food service facility, normally involving the performance of routine club management functions. Manages and oversees food/bar operions in accordance with established policies, procedures and guidelines. May coordine food and beverage special events. Forecasts food and beverage requirements, requisitioning items from the warehouse or against established purchase agreements. Maintains food/bar service areas in a clean and sanitary condition. Prepares menus and establishes selling prices to tain desired cost of goods. Maintains cost cards. Conducts special studies or reviews as assigned. Makes recommendions to supervisor of changes to facility policies, guidelines, and standard opering procedures in order to achieve designed objectives and improve operional effectiveness. Collects and assembles stistical da regarding past and current operions and maintenance expenditures. Reviews da and prepares short-range estime of projected costs. May contact vendors for informion and negotiion on foodstuff prices and selection. Participes in resolving a variety of food/bar administrive and operional problems by assembling facts, evaluing informion, and drafting reports th may be used as the basis for recommendions, interpretion, and decisions by higher-level management officials. Ensures compliance with fire, safety, security and sanition policies and regulions. Performs supervisory functions typical of a first-level supervisor. Prepares work schedules and makes work assignments; distributes workload; evalues work performance; trains employees; establishes leave schedules; inities personnel and disciplinary actions. Responsible for actively supporting the EEO program and communicing this support; ensures quality of opportunity in recruitment, employment, promotion, awards, training, details and discipline; participes in developing and carrying out affirmive action efforts, especially as reled to motiving, training and developing minority employees and women, as well as other employees. Ensures safety training is provided to employees. Complies with OSHA standards and takes action to correct unsafe or unhealthy working conditions. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Three years experience th demonstres knowledge of the fundamental principles, methodology, and techniques involved in the operional management of assigned food and bar programs. Knowledge and skill to perform regular or periodic reviews/inspections of food and/or bar practices. Ability to evalue the adequacy of assigned facility activities and practices, and prepare reports and recommendions concerning the improvement or correction of deficient food/bar activities. Experience in coordining reled work in purchasing and administrive business practices. Skill to supervise employees in accomplishment of work. This is a white-collar position where occasional lifting up to 20 lbs may be required. Additional informion
