General Manager -
Wine Bar & Fire Kitchen Location:
Central Valley, CA (Hill Top Winery) About Us We are creating a new concept at Hill Top Winery. A new wine bar and fire-driven kitchen concept in Central Valley, CA. We celebrate the primal elements of fire, wine, horizon, and music , creating a vibrant and authentic guest experience. The Role We are seeking a hands-on General Manager to lead day-to-day operations and be the face of the guest experience. The GM will oversee scheduling, staff leadership, and supplier orders, ensuring smooth operations and a culture of hospitality. This role is best suited for someone with strong leadership, organizational skills, and passion for wine & food service . Responsibilities Lead and motivate FOH staff, ensuring exceptional guest experiences. Manage weekly schedules, payroll inputs, and shift coverage. Oversee ordering and vendor relationships (beverage, supplies, etc.). Implement and maintain service standards aligned with the brand vision.
Handle daily reporting:
sales, costs, and labor management. Collaborate with ownership and kitchen leadership (though not directly managing culinary operations). Support marketing initiatives and special events. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations. Requirements 3+ years in a management role within restaurants, bars, or hospitality. Strong leadership and communication skills. Experience with scheduling, inventory, and vendor management. Wine knowledge (preferred but not required). Ability to work 55-60 hours per week, including evenings and weekends. Self-starter able to operate with limited oversight.
