The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing staff, ensuring food safety, and maintaining high standards of food preparation and service. The Closing Shift Manager will be responsible for creating a positive work environment while ensuring that all operational goals are met efficiently. Responsibilities Supervise and manage the closing shift staff, ensuring all team members are performing their duties effectively. Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality standards. Manage cash handling procedures and ensure accurate transactions using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS. Conduct inventory control to track stock levels and minimize waste. Train and develop staff in areas such as food handling, customer service, and operational procedures. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean kitchen environment. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during the shift. Assist in budgeting and financial management to optimize profitability. Collaborate with upper management to implement strategies for improving service quality and efficiency. Skills Proven experience in food service management, preferably in quick service or fast food restaurants. Strong background in kitchen management. Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team management and staff training. Proficient in cash handling and inventory control practices. Familiarity with restaurant management software . Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations. Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations gracefully. Background in hospitality management or fine dining is a plus.
