Responsibilities Lead and supervise kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and motivated team environment Oversee food preparation, presentation, and quality control to meet high standards of excellence Manage inventory control, ordering supplies, and maintaining optimal stock levels for smooth operations Develop and implement menu planning strategies that highlight creativity while adhering to dietary guidelines and safety standards Coordinate catering events, banquets, and special functions with precision and professionalism Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation procedures to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene Oversee shift management, including scheduling staff, monitoring performance, and maintaining efficient workflow Collaborate with the culinary team on food production processes, including food handling and cooking techniques Manage the dietary department when applicable, ensuring special dietary needs are met with care and accuracy Maintain excellent communication with front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service delivery Requirements Proven experience in fine dining kitchens with a strong background in food production and service management Supervising experience leading culinary teams in fast-paced environments Extensive banquet experience along with catering event coordination skills Knowledge of inventory management, control procedures, and food handling safety standards Demonstrated leadership abilities with a focus on team management and staff development Strong understanding of kitchen operations including shift management, menu planning, and food preparation techniques Experience in the food industry encompassing restaurant management, hospitality services, or related fields Familiarity with dietary requirements and managing dietary departments when necessary Excellent communication skills coupled with a proactive approach to problem-solving Certifications in food safety or culinary arts are highly desirable Join us as a Sous Chef/Kitchen Manager to inspire culinary excellence while leading a dedicated team.
