General Manager

Chainsaw is looking for a General Manager We're looking for someone special to join our little family. This role is for someone who exudes warmth, is calm under pressure, deeply organized, community-minded, and excited by the rhythm of a busy restaurant. Someone who can lead with confidence and care while helping keep the wheels turning behind the scenes. Chainsaw is a Latin-driven neighborhood space built around community, good food, generosity, and creating a place people want to return to. We're looking for someone who understands the essence of that and wants to help nurture it.

The role includes:

Managing daily restaurant + café operations Front of house leadership + being point of contact for service Building schedules + helping maintain strong systems Product ordering, maintenance, and organization Running expo during busy services Working closely alongside our Kitchen Manager to support and organize our prep, line, and catering teams — helping create thoughtful systems, strong communication, and a kitchen that runs smoothly and with care Supporting and leading a kitchen team with kindness, clarity, and respect You might be a good fit if you: Have restaurant/café management experience Have strong front of house instincts Have coffee experience (a plus, not required) Stay cool, collected, and solutions-oriented in fast-paced environments Care deeply about hospitality and team culture Speak Spanish (a plus, not required) Understand and value community-centered, Latin spaces This role is full-time and hands-on — we're looking for someone who wants to be part of building something meaningful with us.
