Job Description:

Responsibilities Provide daily operational leadership by setting strategy, KPIs, and improvement goals across safety, quality, customer experience, production, reliability, and profitability Review operational data, costs, and forecasts to evaluate progress toward business objectives and identify improvement opportunities Contribute to long?term planning by helping develop policies, goals, and strategies that support growth and profitability Plan and manage production schedules and workloads to achieve output targets, cost efficiency, and on?time delivery while overseeing key projects and performance metrics Support and develop employees through communication, coaching, training, and fostering an engaged, inclusive work environment Ensure operational efficiency by tracking unit costs, maintaining accurate inventory control, improving processes, and promoting productivity, quality, and safety Qualifications Requires food manufacturing or food processing experience and at least 7 years as a Plant or Operations Manager, overseeing all facility operations and ensuring safe, high?quality production Requires a BA/BS degree or equivalent experience, plus SQF experience; SQF Practitioner certification is preferred and the candidate must be willing to assume the practitioner role Demonstrates strong communication, integrity, ethical standards, conflict?management ability, and the capacity to motivate and lead a diverse workforce Skilled in organizing work, setting priorities, managing processes, and driving continuous improvement to meet operational, quality, and safety objectives Shows high energy, perseverance, and a strong drive for results, consistently working toward goals despite obstacles and maintaining accountability for plant performance
