Job Description

Job Summary Gemini is seeking a dynamic and experienced Bar Manager to lead our tenured bar team. We have a fabulous Craft Cocktail program and look forward to meeting the next steward of this aspect of the operation. In this role, you will oversee daily operations of the restaurant and bar program, ensure exceptional customer service, and maintain a high standard of quality. Responsibilities Lead and supervise restaurant and bar staff, including hiring, training, coaching, and evaluating team members to ensure top performance. Create craft cocktails with the participation of the bar team. Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering liquor, beer and wine, and minimizing waste to maximize profitability. Manage vendor relations with an emphasis on quality and price Operate POS systems for accurate order processing and cash handling. Coordinate shift management duties, including scheduling staff, overseeing service flow, and resolving customer concerns promptly. Conduct staff training sessions focused on bar management, customer service excellence, and safety protocols. Foster a welcoming hospitality environment that encourages teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement. Requirements Proven experience in bar and restaurant management. Hands-on experience with POS systems such as Toast; cash handling expertise required. Demonstrated supervisory experience with staff training & development in a hospitality setting. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage shift operations effectively. Familiarity with inventory control practices, budgeting, and food industry best practices. Previous experience in fine dining is advantageous but not mandatory. Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating memorable guest experiences. Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
J Pay:
$58,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
