customer service to assist maintaining a clean, organized shift. Must be able to work weekends. Typical Assistant Manager Schedule consists of 2 opening shifts and 3 closing shifts. We are understanding & flexible with life schedules!

Duties and Responsibilities:

Assists General Manager in helping manage a staff of approximately 10-30 employees Assists in the supervision of the preparation, sales, & service of food Assists In-Shop workers during rush periods in greeting customers, taking orders, using the cash register & assembling orders to help maintain speedy service times Route deliveries & assist drivers to ensure we have fast delivery times Assists as needed with daily food preparation of meat & vegetable slicing, & overseeing fresh bread production Assists General Manager with reports & paperwork as needed Performs other related duties as required per Area Manager needs --SKILLS REQUIRED-- Must be able to read, write & communicate in English Ability to establish priorities, work independently, & complete objectives without supervision ​Required to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach with hands & arms, talk, hear, close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision & depth perception. Occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, & lift up to 50 pounds when handling inventory Ability to handle & resolve both customer & employee issues as needed Ability to perform in a high-volume operation environment ​The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing these duties the employee will be exposed to mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is moderate.
