We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team and oversee daily kitchen operations in a fast-paced, quick service, and casual dining environment. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for food preparation, exceptional management skills, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service. As Kitchen Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of food quality, safety, and cleanliness while fostering a positive team atmosphere that encourages growth and excellence. Duties Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure quality standards are consistently met. Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste through effective food management practices. Supervise and train kitchen staff on food safety protocols, proper handling techniques, and efficient food production processes. Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation. Lead shift management by coordinating staff schedules, delegating tasks, and ensuring smooth service during busy hours. Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety standards and sanitation procedures. Assist in budgeting efforts by controlling costs related to labor, supplies, and food production while maximizing profitability. Foster a team-oriented environment through staff training, performance evaluations, and ongoing development initiatives. Support customer service excellence by addressing guest concerns promptly and ensuring a welcoming dining experience. Collaborate with other departments such as bar or catering services to deliver seamless hospitality experiences. Qualifications Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management within quick service or casual dining settings. Strong supervisory skills with previous supervising or management experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment. Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; experience with cash handling is essential. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and health regulations. Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team training & development and staff interviewing skills. Ability to manage inventory control effectively while maintaining quality standards. Experience in budgeting, cost control, and food industry operations is highly desirable. Exceptional customer service skills with a passion for hospitality management. Previous experience in fine dining or banquet settings is a plus; hotel or catering background is advantageous. Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle shift management efficiently under pressure.
