This is an exciting leadership opportunity for a motivated professional who thrives in fast-paced, customer-focused environments and is passionate about delivering exceptional food and service experiences. As an Assistant General Manager, you will partner closely with the General Manager to lead daily restaurant operations, ensuring outstanding guest service, consistent food quality, and operational excellence. This role plays a key part in driving team performance, executing brand standards, managing labor and inventory, and supporting the development of a strong and motivated team. Your leadership, enthusiasm, and operational expertise will help drive store success while fostering a positive work environment and maintaining compliance with company policies, food safety regulations, and brand standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations Management:
Assist in overseeing daily restaurant operations Ensure all food products meet brand quality and safety standards Maintain operational excellence during all shifts Support the General Manager in achieving sales, labor, and profitability targets Ensure proper opening and closing procedures are followedTeam Leadership:
Supervise shift leaders and team members during assigned shifts Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training new employees Provide coaching, feedback, and performance guidance to staff Help maintain a positive and productive team environment Address employee concerns and escalate issues when neededLabor & Scheduling:
Assist with team scheduling to ensure proper staffing levels Monitor labor costs and productivity Ensure employees follow timekeeping procedures Support labor management strategies to meet operational goalsFood Safety & Compliance:
Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations Maintain proper food handling and storage standards Ensure cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant Assist with audit readiness and operational inspectionsInventory & Cost Control:
Support inventory management and product ordering Monitor food waste and implement cost control practices Assist with maintaining accurate inventory recordsGuest Experience:
Ensure all guests receive fast, friendly, and professional service Resolve guest concerns quickly and professionally Promote a welcoming and positive restaurant environmentQualifications:
1-3 years of restaurant or food service leadership experience preferred Previous supervisory experience strongly preferred Strong leadership and team development skills Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Basic understanding of restaurant financials and labor managementPhysical Requirements:
Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to lift up to 40 lbs Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as requiredWork Environment:
