General Manager High-Volume Food Market

Mystic Market is seeking an energetic, detail-oriented General Manager to lead a fast-paced, food-driven operation and deliver an exceptional customer experience. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in high-volume environments, builds strong teams, and takes pride in running a tight, efficient operation. You'll be responsible for driving performance, maintaining high standards, and creating a positive, team-focused culture.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily operations, ensuring smooth service flow and strong team execution Lead, train, and develop team members to maintain high standards of service and performance Manage staffing, scheduling, and labor efficiency Maintain consistency in food quality, preparation, and presentation Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and operational procedures Handle customer interactions and resolve issues professionally Monitor inventory, ordering, and cost control to support profitability Utilize POS systems for sales tracking, cash handling, and reporting Support catering, large orders, and high-volume service periods as needed Lead by example—setting the tone for urgency, accountability, and teamwork

What We're Looking For:

Proven experience managing food service, restaurant, or hospitality operations Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and hold a team accountable Experience with high-volume environments and fast-paced service Solid understanding of food preparation, kitchen operations, and safety standards Experience with scheduling, inventory management, and cost control Comfortable using POS systems and managing daily financials Highly organized, reliable, and able to multitask effectively A hands-on leader who leads from the floor- not from the office

Compensation:
