As a Multi-Unit General Manager, you will play a critical role in launching new bakery locations, developing future leaders, and ensuring every guest receives the exceptional experience Magnolia Bakery is known for. Multi-Unit General Manager This role is responsible for launching and overseeing the first Magnolia Bakery location in Greenwich, CT, and subsequently building out the management team for additional locations in Southern CT. (Greenwich opening November 2026) and Darien (opening February 2027). This role leads high-volume daily operations, drives team development, and ensures a consistent, high-quality guest experience across all assigned locations. The Market GM will be on the ground floor of a significant brand expansion and must be comfortable leading through growth and change. The ideal candidate is an experienced multi-unit operator who excels at building teams, leading through growth, and establishing operational excellence in a rapidly expanding environment. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Store Launch & Opening Execution Serve as the first General Manager for the Greenwich, CT Magnolia Bakery location, leading pre-opening setup, staffing, and launch Partner with leadership on store buildout readiness, equipment, and operational systems Coordinate a smooth opening and stabilize operations in the critical post-launch period General Manager Hiring & Development Recruit, hire, and onboard team members for the Greenwich and Darien locations ahead of their respective openings (Nov 2026 and Feb 2027) Train and develop GMs to ensure consistent brand standards, operational execution, and guest experience across all locations Provide ongoing coaching, accountability, and performance management to store-level leadership Multi-Unit Operational Oversight Oversee daily operations across assigned locations as the portfolio grows Conduct regular store visits to assess performance, compliance, and team capability Partner with GMs to identify operational gaps and implement corrective action plans Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and all applicable regulatory requirements Financial Performance Manage store-level and regional financial performance, including labor, cost of goods, and operating expenses Review financial reports and adjust operational strategies to achieve profitability targets Coach GMs on financial acumen and cost controls Talent Management & Staffing Support recruiting pipelines for hourly team members and management across all locations Create and oversee scheduling practices in compliance with applicable labor laws Make recommendations regarding promotions, compensation adjustments, and terminations Guest Experience & Brand Standards Ensure a consistently positive and high-quality guest experience across all locations Address and resolve guest concerns in a timely and professional manner Reinforce brand culture and service standards at every level of the team Complete other duties as assigned by supervisor(s) Essential Functions Ability to work 50+ hours per week, including weekends, evenings, and holidays as required by business needs Ability to commute to Greenwich, CT and travel between assigned locations in Fairfield County, CT; reliable personal vehicle required Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout store environments for extended periods Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds Ability to supervise and coach multiple GMs and team members simultaneously Ability to analyze financial and operational data Ability to exercise independent judgment and decision-making authority in a fast-paced environment Ability to communicate effectively with employees, vendors, guests, and senior leadership Comply with Company policies and procedures, as well as all applicable city, state, and federal laws and regulations Attend all required meetings and trainings Perform all other related and compatible duties as assigned
Experience & Certifications:
