Job Description

Jeremiah's Restaurant & The Tavern is seeking an experienced, energetic, and hands-on Floor Manager to join our leadership team in the heart of downtown Mystic. This role is responsible for leading daily front-of-house operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, maintaining service standards, coaching staff, and supporting a positive team culture. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, leads by example, and is passionate about hospitality. Responsibilities Oversee daily FOH operations for both Jeremiah's Restaurant and The Tavern Lead pre-shift meetings and ensure service readiness Coach, train, and develop servers, hosts, support staff, and food runners Ensure adherence to service standards, policies, and procedures Monitor guest satisfaction and resolve concerns professionally and promptly Assist with staffing, scheduling, and labor management Maintain cleanliness, organization, and overall appearance of the restaurant Support food and beverage quality standards Enforce attendance, uniform, and performance expectations Work closely with culinary and bar teams to ensure seamless service Assist with special events, private functions, and seasonal initiatives Qualifications 2+ years of restaurant management or supervisory experience Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to remain calm, organized, and professional under pressure Knowledge of restaurant operations, service standards, and guest relations Experience with scheduling and POS systems preferred Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays ServSafe and TIPS certifications preferred (or ability to obtain) What We're Looking For A hospitality-first mindset Strong attention to detail Positive attitude and team-oriented approach Ability to coach, motivate, and hold team members accountable Someone who leads from the floor, not from the office Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Paid Time Off Dining discounts Growth opportunities within a multi-concept hospitality group If you are passionate about hospitality, guest experience, and team development, we'd love to hear from you.
