Job Description

Mystic Market is seeking a dynamic, hands-on General Manager . This is a full-time, year-round leadership role for someone who is passionate about food, hospitality, and team development, and thrives in a fast-paced, service-driven environment. About the
Role:
As General Manager, you will oversee all aspects of daily operations — from front-of-house service and kitchen coordination to staffing, inventory, and guest experience. You'll be responsible for building a positive, productive work environment while ensuring the store meets financial and performance goals. This is a highly visible, leadership-heavy role that requires both strategic thinking and a strong presence on the floor.
Responsibilities Include:
Lead and manage daily store operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service Hire, train, schedule, and coach staff across departments (front of house, kitchen, and retail) Foster a welcoming, professional, and team-oriented workplace culture Monitor product quality, service standards, and customer satisfaction Manage inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships to maintain stock levels and minimize waste Oversee labor and food costs, sales targets, and other key performance indicators Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations Act as the go-to problem solver and leader on the floor during busy shifts Collaborate with company leadership on new initiatives and seasonal offerings
What We're Looking For:
3+ years of experience in food service or retail management (restaurant or café experience preferred) Strong leadership and team-building skills Excellent communication, time management, and decision-making abilities Proven ability to manage budgets, labor, and inventory Comfortable working on the floor and leading by example Passion for hospitality, food, and community connection ServSafe certification or willingness to obtain Why Mystic Market?
