Job Description

Location:
Westport, CT Salary:
$65,000 - $75,000 base
Benefits:
Performance-based bonus, PTO, paid training Classic American Diner seeks an Assistant Manager to support high-volume operations; local candidates only.
Qualifications:
4 5 years of hospitality experience preferred with strong guest service instincts. Willing to complete paid 8-week FOH/BOH cross-training across all key positions. Positive, detail-oriented communicator with a team-first leadership mindset. Local candidates only; relocation is not available.
Responsibilities:
Complete paid cross-training in service, support, expo, ordering, prep, production, and line operations. Support daily shifts by coaching team members, maintaining standards, and driving smooth service. Deliver excellent guest experiences through hospitality, urgency, communication, and attention to detail. Assist with inventory ordering, prep planning, production processes, and operational checklists.
