Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team! In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes with precision and creativity, ensuring each plate meets our high standards of quality and presentation. Duties Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and quality standards Assist with menu planning by suggesting new dishes and improving existing recipes Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering strictly to food safety guidelines Handle food with care, ensuring proper food handling techniques are followed at all times Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food efficiently and accurately Serve dishes promptly and professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction Use knife skills effectively for chopping, slicing, dicing, and other food preparation tasks Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy hours Follow all safety protocols related to food preparation, storage, and sanitation Experience Previous experience working in a restaurant or food service environment is highly preferred Culinary experience with a focus on food preparation and cooking techniques required Familiarity with dietary department procedures and dietary aide experience is a plus Knowledge of menu planning, meal preparation, and food industry standards necessary Strong knife skills and understanding of proper food handling practices essential Experience in catering or large-scale food service operations is advantageous Demonstrated commitment to food safety and sanitation practices required Join us to bring your culinary talents to life!
