Bar Manager Alys Beach, FL 32461 From $18 an hour - Full-time From $18 an hour - Full-time Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Bar Manager to lead our vibrant bar operations. In this role, you will oversee daily bar activities, bartend, ensure exceptional customer service, and maintain a lively, welcoming atmosphere. Your leadership will drive team performance, uphold food safety standards, and manage inventory to deliver an outstanding experience for guests. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your management and bartending skills in a fast-paced, hospitality-driven environment. Duties Supervise all bar operations, including food and beverage service, ensuring efficiency and quality. Lead, train, and develop bar staff to deliver top-notch customer service and uphold company standards. Oversee inventory control, including ordering supplies, managing stock levels, and minimizing waste. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper handling of food and beverages. Manage cash handling procedures, POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, and daily financial reconciliation. Coordinate shift schedules, monitor performance, and provide feedback to optimize team productivity. Maintain a lively atmosphere by engaging with guests and resolving any issues promptly to enhance customer satisfaction. Qualifications Proven experience managing a bar or restaurant environment. Strong knowledge of Toast POS system; cash handling expertise required. Previous supervisory or management experience in fine dining restaurants preferred. Familiarity with inventory control, food safety standards, and craft cocktail practices. Excellent leadership skills with experience in staff training, alcohol inventory, and team management. Background in hospitality management with fine dining or casual dining experience highly desirable. Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining high standards of customer service.
