Responsibilities Assist in managing daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure timely service. Supervise kitchen staff, providing training, guidance, and support to foster a cohesive and efficient team. Oversee inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste through effective food management practices. Ensure compliance with food safety standards and sanitation regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Support shift management by coordinating staff schedules, delegating tasks, and ensuring smooth service flow during busy hours.
MUST BE ABLE TO CLOSE
Requirements Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or kitchen management within quick service or fast food restaurants. Demonstrated supervising experience with skills in staff training, team management, and interviewing potential team members. Familiarity with food safety protocols, inventory control procedures, and food handling best practices. Background in hospitality management or restaurant management preferred; fine dining or casual dining experience is a plus. Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively under pressure.
