Oversee the setup of banquet rooms, ensuring that the specified layout, table settings, and decor meet the clients requirements and standards of the venue. Manage banquet staff such as waitstaff, servers, server captains, including scheduling staff hours and assigning duties to ensure efficient operation and guest satisfaction. Coordinate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of food and beverages, adhering to the events menu and dietary restrictions. Implement and enforce health and safety protocols among staff and in banquet operations to comply with local regulations and venue policies. Handle customer inquiries and concerns during events, providing immediate solutions to ensure a high level of guest satisfaction. Monitor inventory of supplies and equipment, placing orders or requesting repairs as necessary to maintain quality and efficiency. Review work procedures and operational problems to determine ways to improve service, performance, or safety. Monitor budgets and payroll records and review financial transactions to ensure that expenditures are authorized and budgeted. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; conducting performance appraisals; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving issues. Will supervise employees. Must have 2 years experience as a Banquet Manager or as Food & Beverage Waitstaff, or as Server, or as a Dining Room Attendant, or a closely related occupation in a high-end Country Club setting. Must have proof of legal authority to work in the United States.
