Assistant General Manager

This role involves overseeing daily operations, managing inventory control, and assisting in the training and development of staff while ensuring that our market strategies align with company goals. Responsibilities Assist the General Manager in daily operations and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures. Supervise staff members, providing guidance and support to promote teamwork and efficiency. Manage inventory control processes, including ordering, receiving, and tracking stock levels to ensure optimal supply. Develop training programs for new employees to enhance their skills and knowledge of products/services. Communicate effectively with team members to relay important information regarding sales targets, promotions, and operational changes. Monitor performance metrics and assist in implementing strategies for improvement. Participate in market analysis to identify trends and opportunities for growth. Foster a positive work environment that encourages employee engagement and development. Experience Previous restaurant experience in an Assistant Manager role or similar supervisory position is required. Strong administrative skills with a focus on organizational effectiveness. Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Familiarity with inventory management systems is a plus. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact positively with customers and staff alike.
