As a Compounding Lead at GPG, you will be primarily responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the compounding department. Your role will involve supervising the preparation, mixing, and blending of ingredients to ensure that our gummies are produced according to our quality standards and production schedules. You will also enforce safety and sanitation regulations, manage staff, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Responsibilities:
Supervision:
Lead and oversee the compounding team, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards. Process Monitoring:
Supervise the preparation, mixing, and blending of ingredients to ensure uniformity and compliance with established quality standards. Quality Control:
Conduct inspections and testing of ingredients and finished mixtures to detect and resolve any quality issues promptly. Documentation and Reporting:
Ensure accurate documentation of production data, including batch records, ingredient lot numbers, and production quantities. Prepare reports for management review. Equipment Maintenance:
Oversee the calibration, maintenance, and cleanliness of compounding equipment. Compliance and Safety:
Enforce safety and sanitation regulations, adhering to safety protocols and regulatory compliance procedures, including proper handling of chemicals and adherence to Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) guidelines. Staff Management:
Perform the same work duties as those supervised, assist in their performance, and handle more difficult or skilled tasks. Direct and coordinate staff, prepare work schedules, and assign duties. Instruct and develop subordinates by assigning work, setting performance standards, monitoring and evaluating performance, providing coaching and mentoring, and recommending training. Policy Implementation:
Implement and/or enforce departmental policies, goals, objectives, and procedures, conferring with management and staff members as necessary. Communication and Training:
Provide information to management, supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by phone, in written form, e-mail, or in person. Conduct or attend staff meetings and group training sessions. Problem Solving:
Inspect equipment, structures, materials, or processes to identify the cause of errors or defects. Resolve or collaborate with workers and managers to address production or personnel problems, complaints, and formal grievances. Refer unresolved issues to higher-level management for resolution. Record Keeping:
Prepare and maintain work records and reports of information such as employee time and wages, daily production, and inspection results. Estimate material, time, and staffing requirements based on work orders and job specifications. Safety Reporting:
Perform duties safely and report unsafe conditions or actions. Additional Duties:
Perform and assist in other duties as needed and directed by the manager. Shifts hiring for:

$20.00 per hour Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred. Experience in compounding, mixing, or batching operations, preferably in the food, pharmaceutical, or nutraceutical industry. Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Food Safety Standards. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data measurement and recording. Ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy objects. Knowledge of machines and tools, arithmetic operations, and basic maintenance. Understanding of raw material processing techniques and equipment for ensuring product quality. Knowledge of public safety and security equipment, policies, and strategies. Ability to assess and improve quality and performance. Attentive to others' needs and proactive in offering assistance. Proficient in gathering and analyzing information to identify and address issues. Capability to operate and manage machinery, processes, materials, and personnel. Ability to analyze and evaluate compliance with standards. Adaptable and flexible, open to change and able to handle workplace variability. Benefits:
