In this role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and manage a talented team of food service professionals. Your leadership will drive the success of the cafe by maintaining high standards in food quality, safety, and hospitality. The ideal candidate is passionate about food and beverage management, possesses strong team management skills, and thrives in a fast-paced, casual dining setting. This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape a vibrant cafe experience while fostering a welcoming atmosphere for both guests and staff. Responsibilities Lead daily cafe operations, including supervising staff, managing shift responsibilities, and ensuring smooth workflow. Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality standards and consistency. Manage inventory control, including monitoring stock levels and minimizing waste. Handle POS systems effectively to ensure accurate cash handling and transaction processing. Train and develop team members in food service techniques, customer service excellence, safety protocols, and operational procedures. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards across the shop. Foster a positive team environment through effective communication, coaching, and performance evaluations. Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food production for dine-in, takeout, catering, or special events like banquets. Implement best practices in hospitality management to enhance guest satisfaction and repeat business. Qualifications Proven experience in restaurant management or food service management within quick service or casual dining environments. Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food handling procedures. Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling experience required. Demonstrated supervisory experience with staff training & development capabilities. Knowledge of inventory control, budgeting, and food safety regulations. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage shift operations efficiently. Prior experience in hospitality management or hotel/catering environments is a plus. Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating memorable guest experiences. Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
Pay:
$16.00 - $22.00 per hour
