General Manager Paychex - 3.5 Coral Springs, FL Job Details $115,000 - $130,000 a year 7 hours ago Qualifications Coordinating with subcontractors on construction projects Operational management Construction project management Policy & process development Construction industry experience Construction team management Profit & Loss statement Leading team collaboration initiatives Managing teams in a construction management role Construction subcontract management Managing projects Managing business operations budgets Profit and loss analysis Full Job Description Position Summary We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead and scale a fast-growing outdoor living construction company with 2 locations Coral Springs (Onsite Location with occasional travel to 2nd location Orlando) future expansion on the west coast of Florida locations. This individual will oversee all operational departments including Production, Project Management, Engineering, Permitting, Scheduling, Customer Experience, Field Operations, Warehouse Operations, and Human Resources. The General Manager will be responsible for ensuring projects move efficiently from sale through completion while maintaining profitability, customer satisfaction, operational excellence, and accountability across all departments. This is a hands-on leadership position requiring strong construction operations experience, financial acumen, team leadership, process development, and the ability to manage multiple offices and field teams simultaneously. The ideal candidate understands how to run a construction business, not just projects.
Responsibilities:
Contract Handoff Engineering Permitting Procurement Scheduling Construction Completion Final Collections Department support Monitor production capacity and proactively identify bottlenecks before they impact customers. Drive accountability throughout all operational departments. Establish and maintain SOPs for every major process. Create a culture of ownership, urgency, communication, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Experience:
Required:
10+ years construction operations leadership experience Multi-department management experience Strong P&L responsibility Experience managing project managers and field operations Experience with subcontractor management Experience scaling construction businesses
