In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional customer experiences, operational excellence, and team success. Your leadership will drive a positive, fast-paced environment where quality, efficiency, and hospitality are at the forefront. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate hospitality professional eager to make a significant impact in a lively sports pub setting. Responsibilities Lead and manage daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, service delivery, and staff coordination to ensure smooth and efficient functioning. Oversee food safety standards, ensuring compliance with health regulations and proper food handling procedures. Supervise kitchen management, including food production, inventory control, and quality assurance to maintain high standards. Manage POS systems such as Toast for accurate cash handling, order processing, and sales reporting. Train, develop, and motivate staff through effective onboarding, ongoing training & development programs, and performance evaluations. Control inventory levels to minimize waste while ensuring the availability of necessary supplies for seamless service. Handle customer service issues promptly and professionally to uphold the restaurant's reputation for excellence. Oversee shift management, staffing schedules, and labor costs to optimize productivity and profitability. Conduct interviewing and hiring processes for new team members to build a skilled and motivated workforce. Implement budgeting strategies and monitor financial performance to meet operational goals. Requirements Proven management experience in casual dining environments with supervising responsibilities. Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking processes, and food industry standards. Hands-on experience with Toast POS; strong cash handling skills required. Demonstrated ability in inventory control, food safety compliance, and kitchen management. Prior experience in hospitality management with a focus on customer service excellence. Strong leadership skills with the ability to train & develop staff effectively while fostering a positive team environment. Excellent organizational skills in shift management, budgeting, and operational planning. Background in inventory control and food portion skills Exceptional communication skills with the ability to interview candidates and lead team meetings confidently.
