Job Description

The Golden Lion Cafe is a family owned fresh seafood destination in Flagler Beach for 33 years. Located directly on the Atlantic Ocean in sunny Florida we are destination restaurant and a staple of the community. Just named one of the top 12 Beach Bars and Restaurants in Florida by Southern Living Magazine, The Golden Lion is a fun, tropical, and high energy restaurant. We are looking for an experienced and hands on dining room manager that can assist the staff when busy. In addition make sure that we have 100% guest satisfaction. All applicants should be hands on, positive, dependable, and a team player. Compensation depends upon experience.
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring smooth and efficient service
  • Manage inventory control, including ordering and stocking of beverages and supplies
  • Create and implement strategies to maximize sales and profitability
  • Train and supervise staff, providing guidance and support as needed
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional manner
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service operations
  • Develop and update drink menus, taking into account customer preferences and trends
Skills:
  • Strong bartending skills, including knowledge of various drink recipes and mixology techniques
  • Experience in food service management, including knowledge of food handling and safety procedures
  • Excellent leadership abilities, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage inventory, schedules, and budgets
  • Proficiency in using Pinnacle POS or similar point-of-sale systems
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional customer service skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor
  • Previous experience as an assistant manager or in a similar supervisory role is preferred
