The Big Chill 30A is now hiring for a Culinary Manager . This is a great opportunity to learn service and culinary management skills and work with a dedicated, supportive leadership team. We have multiple restaurant concepts on our property, including DUOS All-American eats, Local Smoke barbeque, Tackle Box seafood kitchen, Nectar coffee shop, and Mile Marker 15 Mexican grill. Major Areas of Responsibility
OPERATIONS
  • Ability to train, develop and coach team members on established TBC processes across multiple outlets
  • Supervise & lead daily FOH and BOH team member workflow
  • Maintain expert knowledge of all menu items, specifications & standards for presentation
  • Follow all established systems and procedures while providing feedback to team members
  • Complete weekly FOH inventories with direct manager
  • Process invoices via R365 and in-house accounting systems
  • Place weekly orders through approved TBC vendors TEAM
  • Practice discretion with sensitive information- wages, tips, HR related matters
  • Effectively communicate with team members & management while offering operational support
  • Recognize team member achievements
  • Weekly Manpower planning
  • Conduct interviews and give hiring recommendations SERVICE
  • Report to scheduled shifts on time, in uniform and ready for the shift
  • Communicate clearly and establish positive guest relations
  • Excites guests by offering additional assistance, guidance & service
  • Model organizational service goals, standards and policies
  • Anticipate & recognize challenges and offer solutions
  • Adapt to changes in business with efficiency and energy
  • Display patience, empathy and respect for guests and team members
  • Contribute to a family friendly atmosphere
GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS
  • Able to provide documentation as a legal citizen of the United States to work for any employer
  • Able to read, write, speak and understand English
  • Basic math skills
  • Pass background check
  • Complete Food Manager ServSafe training
  • Complete TIPs training
  • Able to operate technology systems (POS, Scheduling App, LMS, Inventory Control System, etc.)
  • Able to stand or walk for extended periods of time, reach, stoop, bend and lift
  • Able to work at least 35 hours per week
Pay:
$52,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
