  • Job Summary:
  • We are seeking an experienced Kitchen Manager with a strong background in recipe adherence, inventory management, ordering, cost controls, scheduling, problem solving, and sanitation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our kitchen operations run smoothly, consistently deliver high-quality food, and adhere to all health and safety regulations.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Recipe Adherence:
  • Ensure that all dishes are prepared according to established recipes and standards, maintaining consistency in flavor, presentation, and portion sizes.
  • Weekly Inventory:
  • Conduct weekly inventory checks to monitor stock levels, manage supplies, and minimize waste. Maintain accurate records of inventory and usage.
  • Ordering:
  • Place orders for ingredients and kitchen supplies based on inventory levels and forecasted needs. Develop relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Cost Controls:
  • Monitor and manage food costs and labor costs to stay within budget. Implement strategies to reduce waste and increase profitability without compromising quality.
  • Scheduling:
  • Create and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours and special events. Adjust schedules as needed based on business demands.
  • Problem Solving:
  • Address and resolve any issues related to food quality, kitchen operations, or staff performance. Implement solutions to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Sanitation:
  • Ensure that all kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils are maintained in accordance with health and safety regulations. Conduct regular inspections to uphold cleanliness and sanitation standards.
  • Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager or similar role in a full-service restaurant setting.
  • Strong understanding of recipe adherence, inventory management, ordering, and cost control.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in kitchen equipment, technology, and inventory management systems.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices, with a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.
  • Effective leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
  • Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand and move for extended periods.
  • Capability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Dexterity to safely handle kitchen tools and equipment.
