Job Description

We are seeking an experienced, energetic, and hands-on Restaurant Manager to lead daily operations at an upscale, high-service dining establishment. This is a leadership position for someone who thrives on the restaurant floor, leads by example, and takes pride in delivering exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate is highly organized, passionate about hospitality, capable of motivating a team, and comfortable balancing guest relations, staff management, and operational responsibilities. Key Responsibilities Oversee all front-of-house operations to ensure smooth and efficient service. Lead, coach, and develop service staff through ongoing training and mentorship. Create and manage employee schedules while maintaining labor cost targets. Delegate responsibilities effectively and hold team members accountable for performance standards. Maintain exceptional guest service standards and actively resolve guest concerns. Monitor dining room operations to ensure proper service flow, pacing, cleanliness, and presentation. Conduct daily pre-shift meetings and communicate expectations clearly. Collaborate with kitchen leadership to ensure seamless coordination between front and back of house. Assist with inventory management, ordering, receiving, and vendor relationships as needed. Monitor operating costs and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and profitability. Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations. Support marketing initiatives, special promotions, private events, and community outreach efforts. Assist in planning and executing private parties, special events, and group dining experiences. Maintain high standards for restaurant appearance, cleanliness, and maintenance. Step into service roles when necessary and remain visible and engaged during peak periods. Qualifications Minimum 3 years of restaurant management experience, preferably in upscale casual or fine dining environments. Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills. Proven ability to manage staff performance and foster a positive workplace culture. Excellent customer service and conflict-resolution abilities. Experience with restaurant POS systems and reservation platforms. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to multitask and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of food, wine, cocktails, and hospitality service standards preferred. Experience with scheduling, labor management, and inventory controls. Professional appearance and demeanor. Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. What We're Looking For A true hospitality professional who leads from the floor rather than from an office. Someone who is proactive, accountable, and solution-oriented. A manager who can inspire a team while maintaining high operational standards. A guest-focused leader who understands that memorable dining experiences drive success. A hands-on individual willing to jump in wherever needed to support the team and the guest experience.
