Today, after 25 years, the Costa family operates 19 restaurant locations with family owner/operators. Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Manager to oversee the operations of our quick-service restaurant. As the General Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of all aspects of the establishment, including customer service, food quality, staff management, and financial performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in restaurant management and possess excellent leadership and communication skills.Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including supervising staff, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining high food quality standards
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability
- Train and mentor employees to deliver exceptional customer service
- Oversee inventory management and control costs to maximize profitability
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Conduct regular performance evaluations for staff members
- Maintain a positive work environment and foster teamwork among employees
Experience:
- Proven experience as a General Manager or similar role in the restaurant industry
- Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house procedures
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating a positive dining experience
- Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, cost control, and P&L management
