Job Description

New Location Opening Summary:
The Restaurant Manager is responsible of the team member management, administration of daily operations. The Restaurant Manager maintains the highest standard of quality as they relate to presentation, supervision and control of food and beverage service. The Restaurant Manager maintains a strong and efficient team while creating loyal and trustworthy staff who take pride in their work, thereby providing the highest level of service possible. They will be a role model for the team members by providing sound advice, guidance, and moral building. The Restaurant Manager creates, innovates and executes potential and beneficial solutions/ideas to enhance the working environment to produce higher results. What you'll do: Ensures that shifts run smoothly in accordance with the set standards, policies, and procedures Responsible for assisting in the recruitment process as well as the termination process for employees Develops and implements training programs with the Operations Director and conducts training session for team members Ensures that all standards are always followed including appearance of team members Assists in handling all customer complaints through thorough investigation to avoid reoccurrence Assures the timely and complete set up in accordance with the pre-determined policies and procedures of all team member meal periods in the restaurant Inspects facility thoroughly to ensure cleanliness of linen, operating equipment and fixtures, all furniture and table set-ups are up to standard. Constantly ensures customers are being attended and served according to INK 447 standards Identifies ways to improve overall service delivery Ensures orders are being placed for inventory Reviews average checks, number of customers and sales figure with team members to improve productivity and efficiency Aware of clientele mix, seasonal periods and festivities and make recommendation to management for competitive analysis and budgeting purposes Coordinates with Operations Director/ Executive Chef and beverage department for any special promotion and ensure team members are aware of it to ensure that up selling is exercised What we're looking for: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while under tight deadlines Confidence working within budgetary and financial constraints Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality Ability to coach and provide feedback to team members Excellent verbal and written communication skills Thorough understanding of
Health and Safety, Food Hygiene, Licensing and Employment Law Qualifications:
Highschool or equivalent and/or college preferred. 5+ years of management experience within the food and beverage or hospitality industry Must possess Florida Management Certification. Knowledge of Silverware POS and Forbes 5 star preferred Health & Safety/Food & Safety trained Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish) Ability to obtain and/or maintain any government required licenses, certificates or permits must be "Serv Safe Certified" by the State of Florida.
